I've only read mildly erotic stories by Elizabeth Lowell so this was a pleasant shock for me. I knew that she wrote erotica but I suppose that the word "romance" threw me a bit. Now, that all being said, if you want some clever ideas for a first date, or to spice up your marriage (date wise) then this book is for you. I've never had a date to have "toys" with them, so this unleashed thoughts about my hubby....I loved the ride. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find it annoying and hard to believe that a girl as beautiful and sexy as Valerie is described would be "unaware" that she has any power over Keith. It personifies the insecure beauty who is clueless to her power. No wonder Kim Kardashian is a millionaire. At least she knows that she is worth her weight in gold and she works it. I mean, if you are going to be sexy, you may as well own it. For sheer excitement and sexiness sans the cliche female insecurity I like it and felt that it was a fast-paced and interesting read.Product details

Have you ever been so oblivious to someone's intentions? Finally Keith has had enough, he is tired of flirting and trying to be subtle-today is his day (Valentine's Day) to make his move on his accountant Val.
This is a perfect book to get you in the Valentine's mood! KB Alan gives us a flirty romance full of sexual tension and fun. Beware though, this is not a book you want to start before you go to bed! Oh no do not start this unless you have time to finish this novella, otherwise you will be sleep deprived but happily so.
Sweetest Seductiion by KB Alan is a quick, fun and sexy book to read just in time for Valentine's Day. Valerie and Keith have developed a friendship but each of them would like it to become much more but afraid to reveal intentions. Keith decides to take the direct approach and asks Valerie out which is the beginning of their newfound relationship. The author has written very likeable and characters and provided enough background to make readers care about them. I found myself rooting for Valerie to overcome her insecurity about her body image and cheering Keith on how he helped her thru it by offering love, friendship, and acceptance. And, did I mention that the sex scenes were hot, hot, hot?! I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down until I finished.
Get ready to fall in love with Keith and Val! This story had it all from start to finish; it was well-paced and chock full of realistic, intimate-naughty-sextastic scenes. I could especially relate to Val and her disciplined attitude about working from home as an accountant..I am every bit as regimented as her when it comes to starting the day with getting dressed to avoid the laziness of working in jammies and I can also relate to her insecurities, which made her a loveable heroine for me. I can't leave Keith out of this...he's a hero that is every bit as determined as my dear hubby, which makes me love him just as much, if not more than Val.
KB takes us on a seductive journey involving assumptions that became a wedge which kept Keith and Val from coming together. Keith knows they are perfect for each other and has decided to prove this to her on what started out for her as a normal, date-less Valentine's Day. His ballsy, take-charge, Val-napping is just what she needed to overcome the battle with her greatest enemy...her own mind with its twisted rationalization as to why he could never be as satisfied by her as he could by the beautiful models he photographs regularly. He pulls no punches when it comes to showing her that he's a hopeless romantic with a huge heart that he wants to share with no one else but her.
The page-turning scenes kept me engrossed from start to finish. Since I'm a food junkie, my favorite scene was the ordering of the Double-Double, animal style--oh yeah baby--just the way I like my...men--umm--In-N-Out...ah hell!
